A woman found on a Pleasant Grove roadside early today with a Walmart bag over her head has admitted to making up the entire ordeal.

It would seem, police said, that the 19-year-old Hueytown woman was trying to lure back her estranged boyfriend with sympathy. “She is going through some personal problems,” said Pleasant Grove Detective Jason Davis. “Between that and wanting attention, it turns out none of this happened.”

Women fill Walmart bags with goods they didn't pay for:

“(Walmart security) witnessed two women come into the store and shop for one and a half hours,” Long reported. “The women filled a grocery cart full of clothing items (valued at $766.79) and also added a bag of dog food and a bag of cat food ($32.36). They filled another cart with food items.”

Security also noticed that the women had brought empty Walmart bags into the store — but the bags weren’t empty for long.

“At the self-checkout, the women paid for the items in their food cart but did not pay for the items in their clothing cart, which were already in Walmart bags,” Long’s report says. “They walked beyond the point of sale and were stopped by security.”

Man charged with secret peeping at Asheboro Walmart:

Asheboro police have charged a man with secret peeping after he allegedly took a cell phone picture of a woman bending over at Walmart.

The victim told police she was in Walmart when she heard a cell phone click as if it was taking a picture. She said she then saw a man with a phone in his hand and tried to confront him, but he fled.

Authorities said he was pulled over in his van and charged. They said they also found a small amount of marijuana and a Glock 9 mm in his possession, leading to charges of possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon.

Lindsey Rae Jones, 31, was arrested after she called police to report she had been assaulted at Walmart. A store employee reported a different narrative to police.

An employee told police she saw Jones leave the store without paying for several items. Jones began to fight the employee and bit her on the shoulder before running out of the store, according to the report.

Saginaw Township Police Detective Scott Jackson, who works for the Saginaw County Auto Theft Team, has said Furlo packed a shopping cart with 2 liters and pushed the cart near the store’s exit. He then purchased two or three 2 liters and placed those on top of the rest of bottles and exited the store, pushing the cart to a vehicle waiting outside for him, Jackson said.

Furlo then came back into the store, packed another cart full of 2 liters, and again pushed it near the exit, Jackson said. As he went to again purchase a couple of the 2 liters, the store’s loss prevention staff stopped him, Jackson said.

If you put a laptop computer in your Walmart cart, then put a giant bag of cat food on top of it, it’s possible that no one will notice the computer. However, if you walk out of the store without paying for either item, you’d think someone might notice. Police say that one Florida man walked out with four laptops and a lot of cat food on four separate trips before he was caught.

Two Men Admit to Robbing Woman at Lawrenceville Walmart:

The victim told police that two men had asked her where the lingerie section was, grabbed her wallet from her cart and ran out the store. She said they were still on the premises in the back of the parking lot.

Lundie said that he had been kicked out of his mother’s home and needed money, so he decided to take the woman’s wallet when they saw her at Walmart. He said he panicked and threw the wallet onto a clothing display when the victim confronted him and accused him of stealing her wallet.
